Snow Removal Equipment
Sometimes
it takes more than a pick-up truck with an 8-foot plow to do the
job. The Gasaway fleet is constantly upgraded using state-of-the-art
technology and techniques. In addition to standard pick-up trucks,
these are descriptions of some of our specialized equipment. The
right equipment for the job. We utilize the right size equipment
for the size of the property.
Wheel Loader 2 & 1/2 Yard with Pusher Blade
The pusher blade can clear a 5 acre (218,000 sq ft) parking lot in less than 2 hours. Increases capacity by up to 500% over a bucket.
SKIDSTEER

This
machine is equiped with an enclosed cab and heater which allows
the operator to work under very extreme conditions, such as temperatures
below zero and high wind speeds found during blizzards. The 4' blade
can be used on most commercial sidewalks. It can angle in either
direction from hydraulic controls inside the cab.
Skid

fleet of trucks is used to spread rock salt on large parking lots
& roadways. The saddle tanks prewet salt with calcium chloride
to activate the melting process when temperatures drop below 20°F.
Spreads 8 - 12 tons of salt before reloading.
Refueling
Trucks
For
heavy equipment, diesel fuel is delivered to jobsites by our own
